On May 22nd, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick embraced the radical leadership of the Muslim American Society (MAS), including Imam Abdullah Faaruuq, who has told followers they must “pick up the gun and the sword” in response to the arrests of local convicted terrorists Aafia Siddiqui and Tarek Mehanna. Faaruuq believes that Siddiqui and Mehanna are innocent and that the FBI is out to come after all Muslims. Governor Patrick accepted several demands from the MAS at the event.
