Sign the Petition: Keep Holocaust Denial Out of Our Schools

Holocaust-denying former principal’s teaching license must be revoked!

As we reported more than two weeks ago, William Latson, the former principal of Spanish River High School, was fired last year after he was caught saying that the Holocaust was not actually a crime and may not have happened. This October, however, the local school board scandalously re-hired him. On November 2 of this year, however, people of good conscience showed up in significant numbers to convince the school board to fire Latson a second time, and make sure that he does not receive a cent more of taxpayers’ money.

The Jewish community won that battle. Many activist groups came together across the country to educate their followers — and the public — and to send thousands of messages to the Florida school officials. Chief among the activists were the ZOA and the Gross Family Center for the Study of Anti-Semitism and the Holocaust. Thankfully so many groups took action that we can’t list them all.

But we are not finished: despite being fired, it is more than possible Latson could be hired again elsewhere, and further.

To this end, Proclaiming Justice to the Nations (PJTN) — a non-profit which educates Christians about their Biblical duty to honor and protect Jews — has issued a petitiondemanding that Latson’s teaching license be permanently revoked.
