Senior Administration Official Breaks Taboo on Muslim Anti-Semitism

Elan Carr, U.S. Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat anti-Semitism, publicly acknowledges the threat of Islamic Jew-hatred

Last week, on September 10, 2019, Elan Carr, U.S. Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat anti-Semitism, participated in a panel sponsored by B’nai Zion in New York City moderated by Rabbi Elie Abadie.

WATCH: Prompted by a question posed by Dr. Andrew Bostom, an author of several books on Islam, about the ADL’s findings that in Europe the vast majority of physical attacks on Jews comes from Muslim men, Carr said, in what has to be seen as a radical change in American public discourse, that “…[T]here is no question that’s the case. …[W]e cannot ignore that fact, we can’t downplay that fact. That is, we’re stuck with it, and that is something we have to acknowledge.”
