Video from 1989: the “long-range process of making… all of America Muslim” through education

There are increasing numbers of reports from around the country that public high schools are using curricula which promote Islam, even to the point of having students perform Islamic prayers and rituals.

The promotion of any religion over others in a public school is illegal under the First Amendment.

As we can see from this re-discovered video of a meeting of the Muslim Americans Political Awareness Conference from August 5, 1989, broadcast by C-SPAN, the Islamic subversion of the First Amendment has been going on for at least 30 years.

In Newton today, decades later, we are seeing the fruits of this 30-year-old goal. Students in Newton public high schools are being taught to memorize verses of the Qur’ān in Arabic, recite the Shahādah (the Muslim testament of faith), and are told with a straight face the Islamic belief that the Jewish and Christian scriptures have been corrupted.

Though the Jewish community will be the most immediately damaged by this, Jewish “defense agencies” — the JCRCs, ADL, and Federations — refuse to fight this threat because they are allying with Islamists across the country on the false belief that the threat to Jews comes mostly from the “right” — and from the president.

In Newton, the ADL, JCRC, and the Combined Jewish Philanthropies (Boston’s Jewish Federation) attacked community activists who exposed this problem. They continue to embrace the progressive left groups which have turned against Israel.

Listen to the late Muslim activist Sharifa Alkhateeb explain how Muslim organizations could no less than “make all of America Muslim” through Islamic infiltration of the American educational system. (Incidentally, Alkhateeb — a supposed “feminist” — also received a Community Service Award from the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood-founded Islamic Society of North America, or ISNA, before she died.)

The relevant transcript of Alkhateeb’s speech is as follows:

“I believe that education is one of the most important issues that Muslims have to address. And while our objective — our final objective — is not just to become part of the system that we experience now and that we see, our objective — our final objective — is to create our own Islamic systems, and not only create Islamic systems for Muslims, but to look at all the other people who are sharing this country with us as potential Muslims. And if we look at them as potential Muslims, and feel that we have the obligation, which Allāh has told us, to try to bring them into the same style of thinking — into the same way of behaving, into the same objectives that we have — then we have to have some way that we can communicate with them, and some way we can work with them. And in that long-range process of making America Muslim, all of America Muslim, then we have to have some actual short-range goals. We have to have some way of dealing with them, and know how we’re gonna’ deal with them, and in which ways, and be very calculated about it, or else we will not accomplish our goals.”
